Johnnies Cottage is open plan and well equipped so your stay is as comfortable as possible.

There is a multi fuel log burning stove providing the perfect ambience and warmth. You will have a complimentary bucket of coal and logs for your first few nights.

There is a stone store at the back of the property which is a welcome addition for those with a bike. Here you will find a small collection of ‘crocks’ should you wish to keep your walking boots there.

The cottage is perfect to enjoy as a couple or solo traveler needing a break away, or ramblers who wish to enjoy a walking holiday.

In the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park stands a bolt-hole perfect for a relaxing getaway.

Just a stones throw from a sweet little cafe, a local butchers, shop and 5 minute walk to the local pub.

The ideal spot for a couples country retreat, or solo travellers in search of peace & quiet.

Johnnies Cottage is waiting to welcome you.

Discover the Yorkshire Dales

Johnnies Cottage is located in the village of Bainbridge, England, United Kingdom.

Bainbridge is a traditional working village with a lovely village green. There is a cafe merely 20 steps away, serving great light lunches and a huge selection of cakes (seasonal). The local butcher is literally 50 yards away.

The gorgeous town of Hawes is a 10 minute drive away, where there’s a host of shops, chemist, supermarket, pubs, cafes, chip shop, gift shops, bakers.

Yorebridge House, a 5* hotel and bistro is a 10 minute walk away.

Gorgeous towns such as Kirkby Lonsdale, Sedburgh, Reeth - all within easy reach, as are the three peaks.

We had a lovely five days stay at Johnnies Cottage. Great location to explore the Dales. Perfect location for our wedding venue at Yorebridge House. The cottage is fabulous, everything you need for a lovely break lots of finishing touches. Short drive to good pubs and restaurants. Couldn’t fault it. We will definitely stay again when visiting the Dales.
